Classic candy for any peanut butter lover. The Peanut Butter Bar, was introduced in 1947 by Atkinson. It contains a peanut butter honeycombed center with a hard candy jacket.

Rose Hip No.2

When I set this Rose hip on its crown and saw how the curved stem lead into the hip, I had to paint it. The reddish/orange coloring is a sign that winter is almost here.

Hand Dipped Candle

At a country days festival, reenactors created a working village. The reenactors showed you how to make and do things from the time period. One of the demonstrations was hand dipped candles, wicks being dunked repeatedly in a pot of hot wax. Here is one of mine.

On the way to my sons bus stop my neighbors rose bush is full of hips. She let me cut some and this was my favorite. As the season moves more into fall and the hips change colors, I might paint more.
